A NEW toddler program has been launched in Doveton to celebrate the reopening of the Autumn Place Maternal and Child Health Centre.
The centre has recently undergone refurbishment works, and on Thursday the Doveton Early Years project team officially started its new Toddlers’ Group, to be held at the centre every Thursday from 2pm to 3pm.
Guest speaker and popular writer and parenting issues commentator Pinky McKay attended the opening celebrations and spoke to parents about the joys and challenges of parenting toddlers.
Pinky’s latest book, Sleeping Like a Baby, was recently launched.
Doveton families with toddlers aged one or two years of age are welcome to attend the free weekly group.
Parents are requested to bring a piece of fruit to share.
