MOVE over Rembrandt – students at a Narre Warren school have created some original masterpieces of their own.
Last Wednesday Fountain Gate Primary School unveiled its student art gallery, with parents and friends coming along to view the creative works.
Art teacher Libby Raven said the art gallery had coincided with the school’s open night and featured the works of prep to grade six students.
Students in grade five and six made clay creatures, while prep students made lions and created self-portraits.
Grade three and four students made some elaborate masks and grade one and two students created watercolours.
Ms Raven said all students were very proud to see their works on display.
