THE City of Casey is seeking nominations for community member positions in the new Sports and Leisure Reference Group.
The group will consist of councillors, council officers and community members and will contribute towards the development and implementation of initiatives that will affect sports and leisure in Casey.
The group will also keep the council informed of the sports and leisure needs of the community, comment on priorities for sports and leisure development, and enhance a strong recognisable public profile for sports development in Casey.
Nominations are open for six community member positions on the group.
Anyone interested can obtain a nomination form from the City of Casey by phoning 9705 5200 or sending an email to leisure@casey.vic.gov.au.
Nominations must be received no later than the close of business on Friday 22 August.
