The Ugandan singers will perform two free concerts at the Berwick Church of Christ (BCOC).
It will be the third time Watoto has visited the City of Casey with two previous tours raising almost $100,000 through donations.
More than 5000 people watched the lively entertainment last year with all money raised going towards the construction of a classroom for the Watoto Child Care Ministries in Uganda.
Funds raised this year will go towards helping build another classroom in the African country.
Choir leader Peter Wamono is travelling with the children as they perform throughout Melbourne.
Each performer has suffered some form of hardship in their homeland, he said.
“I am so privileged and honoured to be a part of raising poor African parentless children from despair and giving them purpose and meaning and hope,” Mr Wamono said.
“I know that the children will grow up to be great leaders.”
The group hopes to raise $40,000 during this year’s visit.
The Watoto children’s choir will perform from 7.30pm on Friday 22 August at the BCOC.
The group will also hit the stage at BCOC on Sunday 24 August at 10am.
