A DIVERSE range of business and community leaders attended a Narre Warren Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting this week.
Members were treated to impressive presentations from guest speakers Asok Rao and Christopher Andrews.
Chamber president Bob Burns also spoke passionately about the need for new members to join the chamber and make sure the group continued to be viable into the future.
The event, held at Quest Apartments in Narre Warren, was attended by about 20 people.
Mr Burns said the attendance was a vast improvement on a meeting earlier this year where only one member turned up to listen to one guest speaker.
City of Casey employee Mr Rao outlined thriving shopping precincts around Melbourne and how the Narre Warren area had the potential to thrive with its various business precincts.
Guests were equally impressed with Mr Andrews’ talk.
The Casey resident spoke about his involvement with the Australian Defence Force and the various issues which have arisen following the war in Iraq.
