FOUNTAIN Gate Primary students enjoyed a fruit and vegetable market, colourful craft show and maths madness as part of last week’s Open Night fun.
An Art Show organised by art teacher, Chris Collie displayed work by all the students from prep to Year 6.
Colourful masks, clay figurines, puppets, paintings, weaving and dioramas were all on display for parents to see the creative skills of their child and the work of others.
Teachers highlighted the importance of healthy eating through a fruit and vegetable market stall.
The market is a regular feature of Open Night at the school, and provides fresh food to parents and students at reasonable prices.
The fruit and vegetable market was also a great place for students to try out the new maths skills as part of the Maths Mania program.
As part of Celebrating Learning Week the program was run to encourage students to apply maths skills they learn in the classroom to everyday situations.
