More than $7000 was raised on the pink-themed night, with 11 Rotarians shaving their heads.
The function room at the Fountain Gate Hotel was decked out with pink decorations, while club members and guests wore pink clothing to mark the occasion.
Hairdressers Judy Corbett and Narelle Graham worked overtime, shaving the heads of Rotarians Bruce Brundrett, Bob Sansom, David Butler, Tim Fisher, Graeme Maggs, Roger McGill, Brian Ymer, Steve Shutt, Martin Pater, Richard Edwards and Case Boer.
To add to the special night, one ofthe guests, 14-year-old Bradley McGill, from Kambrya College, also put his hand up to have his head shaved for charity.
The Narre Warren South boy is the grandson of Rotarian Roger McGill.
President of the Rotary Club of Berwick Ian Pickering said it was an incredible night.
“Everyone was in such a high spirits, and willing to part with cash for such a worthy cause as breast cancer research,” Mr Pickering said.
The club’s specialist adviser Marion Mason and Christine Ymer, wife of Rotarian Brian Ymer, are both survivors of breast cancer.
