A MAN went on a shopping spree in Fountain Gate earlier this month after he stole credit cards from a car.
Police said the man smashed a window of a car in Narre Warren and stole a handbag with credit cards in it sometime between 10am and 2.30pm on 5 November.
The man spent $1800 using the stolen credit cards at BigW, Jetty Surf, Kmart and Office Works shops at the Fountain Gate shopping centre.
Police said the bag and contents, barring the credit card, were worth $190.
Police described the man as Caucasian, in his 30s and 175 to 185cm tall. He wore a long-sleeved cream top and dark cargo pants.
