ENDEAVOUR Hills police will crack down on young people drinking in local schools at night.
Sergeant Pat Green said youths had caused damage at Southern Cross Primary School recently.
Police said there was evidence the youths had been drinking and had lit small fires to keep warm. “Police will not be tolerating it any more,” he said.
Sergeant Green said youths caught in schools risked being arrested and charged. “You can’t go into a school and congregate after hours. You must have a valid reason to be in there,” he said.
