Two charged after bottle shop raids

A HAMPTON Park man and a Narre Warren youth have been charged with two counts of burglary and theft after two separate raids on a bottle shop in Hallam.
Police said the incidents took place on 9 and 18 January at the Beer Wine Spirits drive through bottle shop at the Hallam Hotel.
The 22-year-old, who has also been charged with several driving offences, and the 17-year-old have been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court and Dandenong Children’s Court at a later date.
Police said they were grateful to Hallam Hotel staff for their co-operation with the investigation.
