Parkers set

THERE is only one round of the RVBA home-and-away games to go, with Hampton Park Bowls Club’s Division Four and Six sides set to play in the finals.
The Parkers’ Division Four team travelled to Pakenham in what could be a preview of what these two top clubs can do in the play-offs.
Hampton Park came away with the points by 27 shots and the Parkers are aiming to do just as well in the finals.
Scores: Hampton Park 14/105 d Pakenham (2) 4/78.
The Parkers picked up 18 points in their 55-shot win against Clayton (6) in Division Six.
Hampton Park plays the second-placed side this week, while the third and fourth sides face off, which could change the positions of the top five sides.
The Parkers have had a tough season in Division Eight, but have been able to stay around seventh place, which is a great effort for so many new bowlers.
Hampton Park’s VLBA A2 side lost on three rinks, but the one winning rink got up by 31 shots to win the game against Berwick (3).
Hampton Park 2/103 d Berwick (3) 0/87.
The Parkers’ SDELBA Division Four team prevailed by just 1.75 shots in its win at Mount Waverley.
