THE City of Casey is encouraging the community to nominate residents for the 2009 Casey Volunteer Awards.
Nominations close on 31 March.
The awards recognise and honour those individuals who have contributed to the development of the Casey community, or have had a positive impact on the quality of life of City of Casey residents through their volunteering efforts.
All eligible nominees will be recognised at an awards night in May.
The Casey Volunteer Awards will be presented to individuals who contribute to the community through voluntary efforts; and an award will be presented to a community group, organisation or business that is involved in volunteering.
