THE finishing touches are being added to the Chifley Doveton.
Chifley Doveton hotel general manager Matthew Ryan said works were on track and in the final stages, with the four and a half star hotel set to open its doors in the first week of June.
Mr Ryan said the site at the junction of the Princes Highway and South Gippsland Freeway now looked like a hotel.
“The car park and hotel rooms are completed and we’re now concentrating on finishing off the restaurants and bars,” he said.
The 128-room hotel has been designed with modern and efficient rooms which include LCD televisions and high-speed broadband.
Guests will be treated to alfresco dining at the Coldwater Creek tavern which will feature a micro brewery with Chifley’s own ale.
