CASEY police were out and about in Hampton Park this week as part of Operation CARE.
Police are continuing to target drivers committing crime and traffic offences as part of the visible road block operation.
Senior Constable Allen Inderwisch from the Casey Traffic Management Unit (TMU) said police checked 49 vehicles and issued seven defect notices.
He said one learner driver was caught with no qualified driver and another driver failed to display L-plates.
Police also discovered a driver with an unsecured load, a driver with an unregistered vehicle, and a driver exceeding the speed limit
Sheriff’s Department officers executed 29 warrants on 13 defendants and got a total of $28,846 in outstanding fines.
