POLICE officers helped deliver some early Christmas cheer to children at Casey Hospital in Berwick this week.
The police officers helped the Starlight Children’s Foundation by handing out toys and presents on Tuesday afternoon.
With Christmas approaching, the Starlight Children’s Foundation is appealing to the Casey community for some much-needed support.
Every day during this year’s Christmas period more than 400 seriously ill children will be admitted to hospitals across Australia, according to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
The organisation is asking the community to donate and send a special ‘Message of Hope’ to all seriously ill children in hospital.
To send a Message of Hope donate at www.starlight.org.au or call 1300 727 827.
