CASEY traffic police say a man who lost control of his car along Parkhill Drive in Berwick is lucky he didn’t injure himself or any pedestrians.
Police said the 23-year-old from Berwick lost control on the road and ended up in some bushes near the intersection of Argyle Court on Sunday 14 March at 11.15am.
Senior Constable Allen Inderwisch from the Casey Traffic Management Unit (TMU) said police were investigating the crash.
He said the driver was expected to receive a penalty notice for careless driving.
“There is a lot of pedestrian traffic in that area and I would hate to think what could have happened if someone had been walking past at the time,” Sen Const Inderwisch said.
