ICA Casey College students donned their runners for the school’s annual cross country.
The Prep to Year 2 students at the Narre Warren South school had been training for the cross country carnival last month as part of their term two physical education program.
The Prep students ran for about 400 metres, the Year 1’s completed 600 metres and the Year 2 students competed in 800 metres for the school houses, Lyons, Thomas, Freeman and Lawson.
The house points collected from last week’s cross country will be added to the school’s points table, which will lead to the Champion House for 2010 and winner of the McLay Family trophy.
ICA Casey College principal Geoff McLay was also presented with a multi-purpose marquee during the event, courtesy of an RACV sponsorship grant.
