WESTFIELD has released images of what the Fountain Gate shopping centre will look like after it undergoes $300 million worth re-development works.
Westfield corporate affairs manager Julia Clarke said the re-development works were set to start later this year or early in 2011.
As reported in last week’s edition, Myer has confirmed it will set up shop at the Narre Warren shopping complex.
Ms Clarke estimated that Westfield Fountain Gate would have around 440 stores after the works.
The last major redevelopment at the centre was in 2000 and included the incorporation of Safeway and Big W and a new food court, with cinemas and an entertainment and lifestyle precinct.
