TENNIS players will be serving up on the newly refurbished tennis courts at the Endeavour Hills Tennis Club.
The eight courts at the Endeavour Hills Tennis Club are among 17 others resurfaced at local clubs as part of the Federal Government’s Regional and Local Community Infrastructure program.
Casey mayor Lorraine Wreford and Holt MP Anthony Byrne opened the courts in Endeavour Hills on Thursday 22 July.
“I am delighted that the facilities at the Endeavour Hills Tennis Club can now be utilised to their full capacity,” Mr Byrne said.
“The courts are significantly low maintenance and will also save the club money in terms of ongoing maintenance and water costs. The new surface is far more environmentally friendly and can be used in all weather conditions, whereas the old surface could be washed out quite easily.” Mr Byrne believed the investment was an example of how the Commonwealth Government and the City of Casey had worked collaboratively for the benefit of the community.
