Unfriendly beating

FOUR people bashed a 35-year-old Berwick man after sharing drinks with him at a hotel at Fountain Gate on the weekend.
Police said the Berwick man befriended four people at the hotel on 12 September, and they all left the hotel together and walked to the car park at Fountain Gate shopping centre.
The four people then attacked the man, punching and stomping on his head about 3.30am, police said.
The man suffered a suspected fractured eye socket and broken nose, but refused to go to hospital.
One of the attackers was described as of Pacific Islander descent, about 23 to 25 years old, solid build, 160cm tall and wore a black baseball cap and light-coloured clothing.
Police said the victim lost his mobile phone during the attack, but could not confirm if it was stolen.
Two of the other offenders were male and one was female, police said.
Anyone with information can contact Detective Alan Rumble at Casey CIU on 9705 3111.
