Spring stripes

By Lia Bichel
BRIGHT colours, stripes, minimal white and statement jewellery are some of the trends keen shoppers can expect to see at the Westfield Fountain Gate fashion show.
The centre will be hosting a spring and summer fashion parade tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday as well as style workshops to keep stylish residents up-to-date with the hottest looks.
Stylist Jo Blankfield said the parade was a perfect opportunity for people to see a lot of great pieces from a range of retailers at Westfield Fountain Gate.
“The looks are in trend, but still wearable,” Ms Blankfield said.
“We are seeing a lot of colour blocks and colour pops, minimal white which is fresh for summer, and a lot of ladylike looks.”
Ms Blankfield said there would also be a lot of styles for the men featured on the catwalk.
“We have gorgeous fashion for men including a lot of colour, slightly preppy looks and great accessories.”
The show will also feature statement jewellery and headpieces for the upcoming spring carnival.
Ms Blankfield and stylist Lucy Kiraly will also be hosting a fashion workshop and are available to hire for personal styling.
The Spring and Summer Fashion Parades will be between 11.30am and 1pm on 14 and 15 October on Centre Court, Level One, Westfield Fountain Gate.
