Clean sweep

THE Hampton Park Bowls Club had a great day on Saturday with all three sides recording solid wins and all 12 rinks winning.

@BT Sub Sport News:DIVISION 3

Hampton Park played host to Narre Warren and won overall by 58 shots on all rinks. All four rinks had impressive wins.
Rayden Storm, Christine Hendrie, Geoff Ladner and skipper Warwick Hardy were the stars of the day and had a powerful 29-shot win.
Rico Storm, Ellen Smith, Seam McDonald and skipper Mark Paton snatched victory by one shot on the last end.
Keith Reid, Heather Naismith, Lionel Williams and skipper Neville Hendrie dug themselves out of a trough to get up by six shots.
Ian Bartlett, Andrew Brandolin, Zak Storm and skipper Graham Slight had a good 12-shot win.

@BT Sub Sport News:DIVISION 5

Division 5 played at Edithvale and picked up 18 points, winning by 37 shots.
Ann Westwell, Helen Lambert, Paul Barna and skipper Peter Hayden won well by 17 shots.
Tracy Storm, Jeff Crozier, Geoff Ampt and skipper Denise Eastick held off the oppositions late run to win by seven shots.
Vince Kovacic, Richard Pallett, Stan Hatch and skipper Larry Simpson cruised to a 12-shot win.
Russell Stannard, Ken Cobden, Rob Woff and skipper Bob Naismith pipped the opposition at the post by one shot.

@BT Sub Sport News:DIVISION 7

Division 7 played Elsternwick Park at home and recorded a 35 shot win.
Rudy Oost, Marion Battaglia, Jim Westwell and skipper Ray Wood played well to win by 18 shots.
Len Bell, Brian Diaper, Gail Wilcock and Alan Wilcock held on to win by four shots.
Bruce Pointon, Keith Damon, Ray Leggett and skipper Fred McBrian held the lead throughout the day to win by 13 shots.
Les Unwin, Bill Webb, Allan Unwin and skipper Ron Beverly held on to win by four shots.

@BT Sub Sport News:TUESDAY

A very windy day saw Division 2 dominate while Division 3 couldn’t get across the line.
Division 2 had Beaumaris as their guests and almost doubled their score to get all the points.
Neville Hendrie, Jim Westwell, Helen Lambert and skipper Denise Eastick had a tight game, winning by four shots.
Heather Naismith, Marion Battaglia, Ellen Smith and Bob Naismith kept their lead to win by six shots.
Geoff Ampt, Ann Westwell, Andrew Brandolin and skipper Christine Hendrie won 15 ends to finish 16 shots up.
Division 3 played at Murrumbeena, winning on one rink and losing overall.
