Gold class is coming

GOLD class cinemas will soon be part of all the action at Westfield Fountain Gate.
Village Cinemas is currently upgrading and expanding to include the addition of three Gold Class cinemas, a Gold Class lounge and a Vmax cinema.
Works to include the luxury cinemas have already begun and is expected to be complete by early 2014.
The new development comes at the same time a seven screen cinema complex, dining precinct and retail shops was announced for Officer.
The planning permit is the first commercial component of the plans to revitalise the Officer township which have been in the pipeline for years. The plans at Officer includes 300 car parking spaces which Cardinia Shire councillors agreed was sufficient.
Due to construction at Westfield Fountain Gate, customers are encouraged to use the Village roof top, undercover car park and the new Myer Multideck carpark as traffic conditions have changed in the undercover car park near the ANZ entrance.
CEO of Village Cinemas Kirk Edward said he was thrilled to introduce the premium cinemas concepts to Narre Warren.
“This investment is testament to our long-standing partnership with the Westfield group and our commitment to delivering world-class cinema complexes to all Victorians,” he said.
Westfield Fountain Gate recently completed a $340 million redevelopment which made it the second largest shopping centre in Australia and the largest in Westfield’s Australian portfolio, spanning 171,800 square metres with 440 retailers – 175 of which were new to the centre.
The centre undertook the major redevelopment to meet the needs of a growing population and the changing socio-economic profile of locals.
