BERWICK Chase Primary School received a fantastic turnout at its inaugural fete last month.
Students from the school leadership group planned the entire event and were responsible for contacting companies to help out, organising council permits, fundraising, manning stalls, delegating staff and greeting guests.
There was a wide-range of activities available for fete-goers to get stuck into, including face painting, amusement rides, a lucky dip, sponge throwing and a sausage sizzle.
