Get out for indoor

FOR those who are looking for something different to do with the kids during these next school holidays and who are particularly keen to get them out of the house and away from all of those electrical devices that seem to trail with them everywhere, then Casey Indoor Sports Centre may have the answer.
Sports co-ordinator Adrian Vella said the centre was offering special school holiday program with a 5 per cent discount for those who present its advertisement from this newspaper on booking.
He said the July school holiday clinic would see a variety of sports played every day as well as special activities and was the perfect place to get out of the house with the kids.
“It is an all-weather facility with seven day trading, experienced sports co-ordinators,” Adrian said.
“We have the only local indoor football field, a wide range of party and function options and an extensive hot and cold food and drink menu.”
He said what made Casey Indoor Sports Centre stand out from the rest was its indoor football field and competition, eight full-sized tennis courts and huge indoor soccer pitches.
It has a variety of indoor multipurpose synthetic courts, a licensed bar for hire as well as a bounce juice bar and cafe.
Sports offered include football (AFL), soccer, beach volleyball and it also runs children’s birthday parties and junior coaching clinics for tennis, soccer and more.
“The focus of the business is to offer a place for local residents/families to exercise and have fun.
“We are a locally owned business with staff that can provide a program to meet every need,” Adrian said of the indoor centre that has been operating successfully for the past decade.
“We have senior adult staff with years of experience running successful competition sports.
“There are energetic and youthful instructors to engage children in our junior programs and parties.”
The indoor centre is located in New Holland Drive, Cranbourne, and is open 9am to 10pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday and 9am to 8pm on Sunday.
