Cranbourne GP Run stalls

BUSINESSES and organisations have the opportunity to take advantage of the thousands of people who roll into town for the Cranbourne GP Run.
The City of Casey is now taking applications for stallholders for the municipality’s biggest annual event on Saturday 18 October.
The event attracts thousands of people to Cranbourne each year and stallholders of all kinds are encouraged to get involved.
City of Casey mayor Geoff Ablett encouraged not only businesses but also any community organisations that may be interested in managing a stall at the event to submit an expression of interest.
“The streets of Cranbourne will come alive with entertainment and activities as crowds gather to join in the excitement of the celebrity wave-off as thousands of motorcyclists make their way to Phillip Island for the Moto GP,” he said.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to operate a stall selling novelty items, motorbike and car accessories, general market items or food and beverages.”
If you are interested in being a stallholder, visit the council’s website at www.casey.vic.gov.au/arts-leisure/events-activities/cranbourne-gp-run, complete the application form and return it to events@casey.vic.gov.au.
Application forms can also be mailed to City of Casey Events Unit, PO Box 1000, Narre Warren, VIC, 3805.
Expression of interest applications close at 5pm on Friday 1 August.
Successful stallholder applicants will be notified 21 days after the closing date.
