EVERYONE’S favourite event is back for 2015, with the Berwick Show to take place later this month.
-Akoonah Park, Princes Highway, Berwick, Saturday 21 February, from 9am to 9pm, and Sunday 22 February, from 9am to 5pm. Adults $20, Concession $15 and Children (10-15) $10, Children (under 10) free and Family (two adults, two children) $40.
Ramlegh Springs
YOU can make your Sunday a productive one as Ramlegh Springs kicks off its ‘Sunday Funday’ festival this weekend in Clyde North. Cricket favourite Dean Jones will make a star appearance at the first of the four events to meet fans, sign autographs and face some fast deliveries from the next generation’s cricketers.
The event wont be short of entertainment with backyard cricket, face painting, jumping castles and a free sausage sizzle.
Head down to Ramlegh Springs Sunday Funday from noon until 3pm on Sunday 15 February at the Ramlegh Springs sales office, Pattersons Road, Clyde North.

Narre Warren and District Family History Group
THE Narre Warren and District Family History Group is holding a Beginning Your Family History workshop. The workshop will be held in the Meeting Room, Narre Warren Library, Overland Drive, Fountain Gate on 16 February 2015 at 7pm.There is a $5 charge for non-members. Cranbourne Senior Citizens
THE Cranbourne Senior Citizens Club will host its half yearly meeting this month.
All members are invited to the event which will be held on Thursday 19 February at 10.30am at the club on Codrington Drive.
Members are asked to make every effort to come along.
Valentine’s Day
FEEL the love in the comfort of your own community this Valentine’s Day with an experience at an open air cinema at Wilson Botanic Park.
The activities will be endless this Saturday, with live music, performances and a screening of romantic comedy, Blended under the stars in the amphitheatre.
The entertainment will run from 6.30pm until 11pm, with the screening at 9pm.
Families can BYO a picnic or pay a little extra for a picnic hamper to be provided.

Casey Relay for Life
RELAY for Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services.

Art Space is open
ONE of Casey’s new art spaces is getting set to host two exhibitions in one space as part of a new and exciting council venture. The Civic Centre Art Space will host the artworks and mayor Mick Morland encourages the community to come along and experience local talent.

Cranbourne booksale
GRAB a bargain at the Friends of Cranbourne Library mega booksale this Saturday.
Great books for the whole family will be available anywhere from 50 cents to five dollars.
Get down to the Cranbourne Library on Saturday 14 February from 8.30am until 2pm.
The sale will take place in the Conference Rooms at the Casey Indoor Leisure Complex, 65 Berwick-Cranbourne Road.
Enter through Casey Radio doors on the main carpark next to the Cranbourne Library.
Marriott Waters Registration Day
SPORTS fans head down to the Marriott Waters Estate this weekend for you chance to get involved in a brand new club.
The registration and family fun day for the Lyndhurst Football Netball Club is on and organisers hope to see a huge crowd.
The fun will run from 10am until 2pm at the Marriott Waters Recreation Reserve, Boland Drive, Lyndhurst.
The registration day is open for both netballers and footballers, and visitors will also have the chance to meet the coaches, take part in games, and enjoy a sausage sizzle as well as other entertainment.
Blairlogie
ENJOY a free day out with all the family this Sunday at Blairlogie’s Harvest Day.
Everyone is invited to what is expected to be a fun-filled day, which will include the judging of a ‘grow a spud in a bucket competition’.
Other entertainment will include potato peeling competition, gumboot throwing, spud and spoon races and sack races.
Get along to Blairlogie on Sunday 15 January at 685 North Road, Cranbourne South, from 10am until 3pm.
Art in action
ART appreciators are urged to get along to Wilson’s Botanic Park on Sunday 1 March to see members from the Berwick Artists Society in action. The artists will be painting scenes from the park, providing a wonderful chance for visitors to see how they translate the view in front of them on to paper.
In conjunction, Fiona Bilborough will also judge the works completed on this day at 5pm, with an award presentation at 6pm. Artists are also invited to exhibit one of their own artworks in an exhibition at the park for the week prior to the Paint in the Park Day.
