Four decades of tinkering

BERWICK Motor Body Repairs has been the place to go for accident, structural and mechanical repairs for the past 40 years.
Managing director Noel McBride, who boasts 36 years in the industry, said the accident repair centre was a four by four structural repairer, had a mechanical division and looked after suspension and wheel alignments.
“We are a VACC-accredited repairer,” Noel said of the successful local business.
“We are also OHS and environmentally accredited (Green Stamp).“
He said BMBR is the only approved repairer for RACV, Lumley, Coles, Youi, WesFarmers, QBE and Allianz.
Noel said there were plenty of things that set the company apart from other repairers including its Car-o-tronic with computer measuring, infra red drying systems, UV technology, repair cycle times and being a partner repairer for the major companies.
With its direct links to insurance companies, the company can fast track claims so the repairs can be carried out in days instead of weeks.
The company has 12 loan cars.
All vehicles are washed and cleaned and touch-up paint is provided and staff will assist their customers with any other private work that they require doing at the time of repair.
Noel said the focus of the business was to provide high levels of service and assist and support customers through all stages of the repair process.
“We repair vehicles in a quick cycle time with our state-of-the art facility,” he said.
Berwick Motor Body Repairs has a staff of 28 including a team of tradespeople who are trained in the current industry repair guidelines and in accordance with current manufacturers’ guidelines.
BMBR is also an approved Toyota, VACC repairer, Australian Accident Repair Network member and is Green Stamp approved Level Two.
Berwick Motor Body Repairs is at 393-395 Princes Highway, Officer, and is open 7am to 5.30pm week days and Saturday from 7am to 11am.
