Challenged to crack the code

School's secret to success.

Berwick Lodge Primary School is celebrating Education Week this year with an open night with a difference on Wednesday 20 May from 6pm to 8pm.
It has adopted the Department of Education’s theme of Cracking the Code for the night.
All classrooms and specialist programs will feature mathematical problems and challenges.
When visitors arrive they will be presented with their personal passport with Lodgie Bird, the school’s helmeted honeyeater logo.
As they tour the school they will have the chance, with the children, to solve the problems, puzzles and crack the codes contained on the passport and go into the draw to win a fabulous mathematical game for the family to enjoy.
On display in all classrooms will be examples of the wonderful work that the children have been doing this year, with teachers on hand for a chat.
Then there are our specialist programs – robotics, Mandarin, visual arts, PE, performing arts, radio and library.
Visitors will be able to try their hand at painting, enjoy performances from the choir, watch robotics in action, see students showcase the radio programs, indulge themselves in Chinese paper cutting and painting or read one of the many beautiful books with the students in the spacious library and lots, lots more.
Senior students are available to welcome visitors to the school to answer questions they may have on their perspectives of the school.
We are all so proud of our school – why not enjoy it with us on our open night!

Principal.
