Nominate a young achiever

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

DO YOU know a young achiever in your area?
Narre Warren South MP Judith Couacaud Graley has called on local residents to nominate talented young people for the 2016 Victorian Young Achiever Awards.
Acknowledging and encouraging young go-getters, Ms Couacaud Graley said every day young people are making significant contributions to the community and improving people’s lives.
“These outstanding young people are our future leaders and deserve to be recognised for all that they do and have achieved,” she said.
The 2016 state-wide awards will recognise the achievements of young people across 11 categories ranging from arts, fashion, community service and leadership.
Ms Couacaud Graley urges everyone to get online and “nominate a young person who they believe deserves recognition for their achievements”.
Nominations will close on 11 December, and the winners will be announced at a gala presentation dinner in May next year.
