Centre welcomes new year of activities

The centre prepares children for whatever comes their way.

PRE-KINDER sessions are being run at the Hallam Community Learning Centre for three and four-year-olds.
Staff pride themselves on preparing the children who attend the groups for all sorts of things that might come their way.
Last year they learnt about different countries and were lucky enough to have had some mums come and sing happy birthday and nursery rhymes in their native languages.
Other topics covered included science with erupting volcanos, da Vinci paintings during art time and nature and wild animals, and the kids can’t wait to see what the staff have in store for 2016.
The kids also hosted morning tea for Mother’s and Father’s Days making yummy scones with jam and cream.
The centre has undergone a massive renovation since November last year thanks to the City of Casey and staff are all looking forward to welcoming new families to our groups.
