Home intruders terrorise couple

By Victoria Stone-Meadows

A Narre Warren North couple has endured a terrifying night by having to chase intruders out of their home and had their car stolen in the early hours of Saturday 11 March.
The couple were asleep in bed when two people wearing gloves and balaclavas entered the house on Rose Garden Court via an unlocked back door and made their way into the main bedroom.
The two thieves took a set of car keys from the bedroom which woke the couple and a male chased the two unknown men out of the house.
The crooks ran up the street at first but them came back a short time later and threatened the occupants of the house.
The thieves then made off with a new model silver Holden Commodore club sport with black and white number plates reading RTC01.
The Casey Crime Investigation Unit is asking anyone who may have seen suspicious people in the area overnight or the stolen vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
