Bandits were golden

Police are on the lookout for two men who were allegedly involved in thefts from Fountain Gate and Southland shopping centres.
In the first instance, the men entered a store in Southland in Cheltenham shortly before 4pm on Saturday 25 February.
The men allegedly opened a display cabinet inside the store and stole $11,640 worth of gold jewellery.
In the second instance, the same men entered a store at Fountain Gate in Narre Warren on 2 March.
They again accessed a display cabinet via a drawer and allegedly stole nine pairs of designer sunglasses before leaving the store.
Police have released images taken from the stores’ CCTV cameras of men they believe can help with their search.
