Take a free shot at tennis

Free lessons, games and social tennis are being served up for the return of Casey Tennis Week.
Drawing on the excitement of the Australian Open, 10 tennis clubs will open their courts for free events from 28 January-4 February.
The series – with the support of Casey Council and Tennis Victoria – aims to help increase physical activity as well as promote local tennis.
Casey mayor Geoff Ablett said there were opportunities for the young and the elderly to have a hit.
“What better way to get the whole family active this summer?
“Whether you’re someone who could match it with the best, or haven’t had a hit before, there is something on offer for all abilities and it’s a wonderful chance to have a laugh with family and friends.”
Tennis clubs in Berwick, Clyde, Devon Meadows, Doveton, Fountain Gate, Hampton Park, Harkaway, Narre Warren, Narre Warren North and Narre Warren South are taking part.
Clubs will provide racquets and balls at many of the activities.
