Change rooms for Max Pawsey Reserve

If elected, a Liberal state government will commit $500,000 towards new change rooms and toilets at Max Pawsey Reserve.

With increased female participation in sports like football and cricket and more population growth within local suburbs than ever before, it’s essential that upgrades are made to local sporting facilities.

This reserve is an important local asset, and the venue for the local Carols by Candlelight each Christmas.

The Fountain Gate Football and Cricket Club also include players from many disadvantaged communities in the area and this club provides a base for them.

“Sport and recreation play a vital role in the Narre Warren North community,” Liberal candidate for Narre Warren North Vikki Fitzgerald said.

“These clubs bring our community together and help to engage our kids in healthy lifestyle choices through sport, education and friendship.

“This facility upgrade is vital and has been a long time coming for the club. It will ensure that the Narre Warren North sports precinct can be enjoyed by the local community for many years to come.”
