A 34-year-old man has been arrested following an incident on Bellevue Drive, Berwick on Thursday 11 October.
Police were called to the premises just before 8pm following reports of a man inside the house armed with a pellet gun.
The man was arrested about 9.30pm without incident.
Approximately 20-30 emergency service vehicles attended.He was taken to hospital for assessment.
The Bomb Response Unit were called as a device was located at the premises.
The area has been deemed safe.
