Relay for Life seeks fastest chicken wing eater

Cranbourne-Narre Relay for Life is hosting a King of the Wing competition which challenges Cranbourne-Narre Relay for Life participants to eat as many chicken wings as they can in 10 minutes.

Relay for Life is a pro-health event and the committee stress that food eating competitions should be infrequent and in this case, only to raise valuable funds for the Cancer Council.

King of the Wing is not only fun but most importantly about the bucks not the clucks!

King of the Wing participants will include representatives from the Cranbourne Police and Fire Brigade.

The Cranbourne-Narre Relay for Life committee is ecstatic that the local community is getting on board to raise awareness and funds for the Cancer Council.

The King of the Wing event will be held as part of the Cranbourne-Narre Relay for Life at Casey Fields Athletics track on Saturday 18 November at 6.30pm.

This year’s Cranbourne-Narre Relay for Life event aims to raise $70,000. The current total is over $36,000 with their fundraising efforts including a recent tin-shake in Berwick.
