Berwick Chase Primary to receive $1.4 million

A brand new sporting oval could be constructed for Berwick Chase Primary School and the local community in the near future.

Labor will invest $1.4 million towards the construction of an oval, cricket practice nets, pavilion, floodlighting, car parking and landscaping.

“A re-elected Labor Government will make sure our community has the sporting facilities it needs,” Labor candidate for Narre Warren South Gary Maas said.

“Whether its hospitals, schools, upgraded roads or new sporting facilities, only Labor can be trusted to deliver for local families.”

Minister for Education James Merlino said that community sport is all about bringing people together.

“This will not only give the local community the facilities it needs, but give more outdoor sporting space for the nearby Berwick Chase Primary School,” Mr Merlino said.
