The City of Casey will be out and about over the next few weeks to ask the community what matters most to them to help shape council’s draft priority actions for 2019/20.
The Draft Council Action Plan 2019/20 outlines council’s priority projects for the year, as they work towards creating Australia’s most liveable city.
All feedback received from the community will be considered in preparing the final draft, to be presented to council in May.
Mayor Amanda Stapledon said council wants to hear from the community about what matters most to them, their family and their neighbours over the next 12 months.
“The Draft Council Action Plan 2019/20 will be developed based on input from our community, so now is the time to let us know what you would like included and why,” she said.
“We kicked off the conversations this past weekend at the Berwick Show stand where our community participated by filling out a postcard or completing the online survey. We also had a children’s activity as it is vital that we hear from residents of all ages.
“Once we have collated all of the feedback and prepared the draft plan, we will be coming back out to the community in May to give everyone another opportunity to provide further feedback.”
The community can have their say online or by visiting them at a pop-up around Casey until Sunday 24 March.
For a full list of upcoming pop-up dates and locations or to participate in the online survey visit the Casey Conversations website.
All completed surveys will be in with a chance to win one of three $80 Westfield gift vouchers.
