Free pilates class

Saturday 4 May is International Pilates Day and to celebrate the team at KX Pilates Berwick is offering locals the chance to trial the fitness phenomenon, for free!

The KX studio on O’Shea Road already has a loyal local following but for those who haven’t yet jumped on board, quite literally, Nikki Sievwright welcomes those wanting to give pilates a go.

“Many people are reluctant to try Reformer Pilates because they’re intimidated by the equipment. But put all those fears aside, because with

the right instruction, anyone can do it,“ Nikki said.

That equipment is the reformer “bed”, a spring-loaded apparatus that can be adjusted to suit any fitness level.

And as the name suggests, it is one of the most effective exercises to change body shape by targeting and toning every muscle group.

“KX Pilates isn’t about smashing it out at the gym” said Nikki.

“It’s a lifestyle choice. Anyone who can fit just 1-3 sessions into their weekly routine will notice a difference.”

And for those needing more convincing, some of the world’s biggest celebrities, including Madonna, Jennifer Aniston, and Ironman himself,

Robert Downey Jnr, credit Reformer Pilates for their red carpet ready form.

And while O’Shea Road may be a long way from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Saturday’s free classes may just be the perfect way to get started on a superstar journey of your own.

KX Pilates Berwick is offering free classes between 1-3pm on Saturday 4 May.

The studio is at Eden Rise Village, Level 1, 1 O’Shea Road, Berwick. To book your free class go to kxpilates.com.au/studio/berwickpilates-studio/
