Police are searching for a mother and child who have not been seen since a hospital visit in Berwick on Tuesday 30 April.
The 11-year-old, Linea Urno, needs urgent medical treatment but is yet to attend a hospital.
Police are urging Linea and her mother Alexia to attend a hospital immediately or contact police.
At this stage police are yet to obtain photographs of the two.
