Channel Nine newsreader Peter Hitchener was given a hero’s welcome after dropping into Berwick College for a visit on Thursday 23 May.
He spoke to the Year 12s about adversity in the media Industry, as well his background and life experiences during his presentation, which coincided with Careers Week.
“Their questions were most thought provoking and we had lots of fun,” Mr Hitchener said.
“I’m always honoured to be invited to schools to find out what the students are interested in and to talk about my work.”
