A collision has closed Ballarto Road at Carrum Downs between Frankston-Dandenong Road and Lyrebird Drive.
VicRoads suggest drivers use Hall Road and McCormicks Road, or Peninsula Link and Skye Road instead.
There is congestion in the area on Frankston-Dandenong Road.
This closure is under Victoria Police control. The road will reopen when investigations are complete and it’s safe to do so.
VicRoads signals team are monitoring conditions and will tweak lights as needed to keep traffic moving in the area.
