A 30-year-old man has been charged and bailed following the discovery of cannabis and cash at a Narre Warren property on Friday 21 February.
Police arrested a 30-year-old man after finding “suspicious chemicals” in a predawn raid.
“Police entered a house in Narre Warren with a search warrant after information was received about drug dealing from the address,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
“Significant amounts of cannabis and cash were seized”.
Clandestine laboratory chemists wearing breathing apparatus assessed the chemicals which police allege were likely to have been used in the manufacture of methylamphetamine.
The man was charged with trafficking cannabis and possessing equipment to manufacture drugs of dependence.
He was bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates Court in April.
