Road works alert updates

A huge program of works is underway to improve and extend Melbourne’s road and rail network.

The following are the planned closures for tonight and the weekend.

Many of these works are weather-dependent, so dates and times may change.

Berwick-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne (NEW)

Road closure

Berwick-Cranbourne Road closes at the intersection of Sladen and Cameron streets, from 8pm to 5am on Sunday 29 October, due to intersection upgrade works.

Detour: Use Broad Oak, Race and New Holland drives.

Cameron Street, Cranbourne (NEW)

Road closure

Cameron Street closes at Berwick-Cranbourne Road from Sunday 29 October until mid-January 2024, due to intersection upgrade works.

Detour: Use Sladen Street and South Gippsland Highway.

Camms Road, Cranbourne

Road closure

Camms Road is closed in both directions at the level crossing until late-November, for level crossing removal works.

Detour Use the South Gippsland Highway, Duff Street and Bourke Road.

Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne

Road closure

Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road closes between Majestic Boulevard and Spirit Boulevard/Kingdom Drive, tonight from 8pm until 5am for road upgrade works.

Detour: Use the Monash Freeway, Clyde Road and Greaves Road; or Hallam Road and Pound Road.

Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, Narre Warren (NEW)

Road closure

Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road closes between the Princes Highway and Fullard Road, tonight from 8pm, to 6am Monday 30 October, as part of level crossing removal works.

Detour: Use the Princes Highway, Hallam Road and Shrives Road, or the Princes Highway, Clyde Road and Greaves Road.
