CRANBOURNE hosted its fifth tricodes race day on Sunday, with close to 4000 patrons attending and making it a fun family occasion.
The event boasted 22 races between 11am and 5.30pm and Turf Club chief executive Neil Bainbridge said the day was a great success.
“All the figures were up and it has really grown as a feature family event,” he said. “It was my first tricodes meeting as CEO and the way the staff of the three clubs co-operated and worked together was excellent.
“It’s a credit to the clubs and their management and I hope we can market and promote the event as one of the City of Casey’s major events even harder next year.
