Narre Warren East fatal collision

A Warragul woman died in Narre Warren East on Saturday 23 February.

It is believed the 89-year-old driver of a vehicle was travelling west on Wellington Road and attempted to make a turn onto Berwick Road before colliding with an on oncoming vehicle at about 3.25pm.

The driver died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.

The driver of the second vehicle, an 18-year-old Belgrave man and his passenger, a 19-year-old Menzies Creek woman have, both been transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
