A chocolate heaven … for free!

This mountain of chocolate is sure to hit the sweet spot.

Senior Pastor Kerrigan La-Brooy of Gethsemane Church and Charity said the towering haven – which included a range of leftover Easter chocolate – will be up for grabs for free in Cranbourne on Saturday 6 June.

“We have a Wonka full of chocolate to giveaway to our community and you each have a golden ticket!” he said.

“Considering the social distancing and government restrictions our children have endured in recent times, we believe it’s time they received a well-deserved treat subject to parent’s discretion.

“Spreading God’s love is what we’re all about and this is an extension of Easter.

“I dare say some ‘older kiddos’, aka parents, may indulge as well! Come along and feast your eyes as well as your taste buds!”

Mr La-Brooy said despite the opportunity of turning the event into a fundraiser, the charity believed the “price of real love” was “absolutely free”.

“We don’t want anyone to miss out!”

Details: Gethsemane Church at 1/8 Smethurst St, Cranbourne, 12 noon to 1pm. Time may be extended depending on demand.
