GLENEAGLES Secondary College is celebrating the results of its first VCE class.
School principal Sue Peddlesden said the school was very proud of their first VCE students and congratulated them on their results. Eighteen per cent of students achieved an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of over 80 and 27 per cent achieved one or more study scores of 40 or above. School DUX, Rachel Cheong, received an ATAR score of 97.4 and a perfect study score of 50 for ESL (English as a Second Language) as well as outstanding results for other subjects.
Rachel has received a scholarship to Melbourne University and hopes to study pharmacy.
