NOTORIOUS Furnace Nite Club is no longer Casey’s night time hot spot.
Operators this week decided to close down the Narre Warren venue following a history marred by violence, liquor licence breaches and sexual assault. The trouble-plagued nightspot ceased trading last Friday night, with the owners announcing the closure on Monday.
The short statement said the owners and managers wished to advise that the venue, located at Westfield Fountain Gate, would cease trading from Friday 8 April along with the Spaghetti Grafitti restaurant, attached to the nightclub.
